It is one of the initiatives of the Human Capacity Development Program, aiming to build and implement specialized educational professional development programs and pathways in partnership with local and international expertise houses to improve the integrated educational journey.
The initiative contributes to:
• Raising the capabilities of educational job holders (teachers and educational leaders)
• Enabling teachers to enhance students' basic and future skills
• Developing enablers that support the design and implementation of programs and pathways
• Elevating the teaching profession
Activity points are recorded in the following cases:
• If nominated to attend the activity by the Ministry of Education
• If approval is obtained from the Ministry of Education to attend the activity
• In addition to achieving other conditions and controls stipulated in the guide for calculating educational professional development points for promotion purposes issued by the National Institute for Educational Professional Development
The new regulations for the National Institute for Educational Professional Development were issued by Cabinet Resolution No. (636) dated 3/8/1445 AH, which focuses on preparing and developing teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and developing educational leaders according to the latest trends and successful practices; to build distinguished educational capacities, and for globally competitive generations.
